Kris Mun is a registered architect and a co-director of poly.mu.r, an office based in Los Angeles, London,
and Seoul, Korea. Their work focuses on design
and research rooted at the intersection of mass culture and the built environment
and employs advanced digital technologies. She received her Bachelors at Arizona State University, Master of Architecture from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan and her Ph.D. at the Architectural Association (AA) in London. Kris Mun is a Professor at USC and have taught at a number of leading institutions including the AA, Pratt, DIA and UPenn. She was a co-curator for AA|Fab, a 2-year research initiative from the AA on advanced digital fabrication, and the curator for Architectural
Beijing Biennale 2004 (Los Angeles) and 2006 (Europe). She has won several awards and exhibited internationally including the upcoming BAAM Mediterraneo Biennale in 2010. She has recently received a 1st prize for a 600,000sf hospital in Sassari, Italy.BR
